Friends, how are you doing? We hope you are healthy & happy – which is a lot considering the crazy times we live in. We have some exciting news involving a NEW ALBUM and a RELEASE TOUR.
Well, calling these times ‘crazy’ feels like a bit of an understatement, but you catch our drift. For us it’s important to reflect on what the hell is happening and to exchange ideas with each other and stay involved, because we will never let our head hang down. You need to keep that chin up. That’s why we consider these times inspiring as well. So this little band did what it had to do: we wrote some music and sang to it, expressing our thoughts, visions, insecurities, frustrations, passions and what more. That’s what Black Bottle Riot has been doing for 20 (!) years now and we need to keep carrying that torch.
In March 2027 Black Bottle Riot will release a brand new studio album called “UNDER MY SKIN“, containing almost 44 minutes of fresh BBR originals. This is BBR’s 8th release (6th studio album) and it is aiming for your heart. Rock and roll, boogie, fat guitars and plenty of blues harp! Stylistically, this record lands closer to Rory Gallagher, Thin Lizzy, and The Black Crowes than we ever did before. A natural result of all those years doing exactly what we thought best – never what was easiest or most popular. So this isn’t a comeback and it isn’t a new chapter. It’s just the next room to conquer, with the same old van, some cold cases of beer and a band that still loves nothing more than being on the road together.
As someone once put it: “this is the band with the longest wind and the biggest thirst.” And that about sums it up.
